Otavalo - One Day
Otavalo is located in northern Ecuador two hours from Quito. Here you can find the largest indigenous market in Latin America, in addition to men and women who still retain their identity and can choose their ancient customs and traditions from the world, through their crafts. Around the city you can find the Peguche waterfall, a place with indigenous tradition charged with energy, Lake San Pablo and the Ciucocha lagoon, places full of nature, life and legends.
This is the perfect place to buy a wide variety of Andean handicrafts, leather articles, clothes and delicious gastronomy that is safe for you, a family and friends.
Scheduled Itinerary:
- The meeting point will be confirmed in advance.
- Visit the Quitsato museum, the middle of the world.
- Visit Cayambe.
- San Pablo Lake sightseeing.
- Shopping time at Otavalo´s Market.
- Visit Cotacachi and lunchtime.
- Arrive at Cuicocha Lagoon.
- Drive back to Quito.
