TRAVEL RESOURCES

If you are an educator and want to collaborate with our country to improve Ecuador’s educational system and help us work towards a better future, we will gladly guide you in the necessary preparation steps. If you have any questions, please contact us at any time!

Preparatory Steps:

1.- Plan your schedule from home, your vacation, your semester or during a sabbatical year. If you are already a retired educator, plan your next adventure as an educator with us!
2.- If you decide to volunteer personally here in Ecuador, organize your air ticket to come to our country.
3.- If you are going to travel, it is always important to be well protected. We strongly recommend finding travel insurance that covers your health, your finances, and your life.
4.- If you do not yet speak Spanish, we will help you by organizing an excellent language course with good discounts for you for 1 or more weeks that will help you obtain an Elementary Level A2 in Spanish to speak and understand Ecuadorians.

We can also help you also by organizing a very good online Spanish course based in Quito before starting with your volunteer program.
5.- Complete a membership application with Fundación Educativa Superior.
6.- Fill out our application form to work as a volunteer educator.
7.- As soon as you have filled out our application form, we will organize your program with us, and will send you our complete confirmation with necessary details and a recommended a picking list to come to our country.

So, decide what best suits your requirements and our country and pack.
8.- Take the flight to our country. We will pick you up at the airport in Quito and will take you to our residence where our volunteers stay in Quito – Ecuador for a quick training before starting with the volunteer program.
9.- Attend our training.
10.- Travel to your workplace, stay with a family, and volunteer!
11.- You must make contact with us minimum once every 15 days while volunteering, but if you have any emergency, you are welcome to contact us every day of the week and at any time.
