OUR JOB
Our educative foundation develops, organizes, and coordinates specifically educational volunteer abroad programs throughout Ecuador, in both urban and rural sectors, with the collaboration of current and retired professionals in education from all over the world.
Our volunteer educators are placed in kindergartens, elementary schools, high schools, and universities; teaching in professional or academic areas according to their interests, professional academic training. and preference. Subjects we are interested to support include mathematics, arts, sports sciences, chemistry, marketing, economics, etc. Each of subject can be taught in Spanish or in a foreign language.
Given the nature of our work, we expect that all of our volunteer educators will be able to teach in person here in Ecuador in all of our educative institutions; in this way they will discover the wonders of our country, our culture and mentality, but in the case of necessary accommodations, we are completely open to organize face to face virtual classes from home according the school schedules of students here in Ecuador.
In order to help improve the foreign language proficiency of Ecuadorian students of all levels of schooling, we also organize volunteer work as English or French teachers in different educative centers nationwide. If you are not a professional in education, but want to join our group of volunteers, please apply for a position as an English or French teacher.
Just as we organize volunteer programs for educators, we also develop aid projects for the educational institutions that need it most. These aid projects also include scholarships for students with low economic resources, for students with disabilities, and for high performing students, all of whom could become the important leaders of Ecuador’s development if given access to a good academic program.
