TOUR TO COTOPAXI
Cotopaxi Bikes - One Day
The Cotopaxi volcano is located near the city of Latacunga, where a day with great adventures awaits us next to the second highest volcano in Ecuador. At a height of 4800 masl, we will start our trekking towards the first refuge known as José Rivas, where we will enjoy spectacular Andean landscapes on the Avenida de Los Volcanes.
After enjoying the wonderful view, we will descend by bicycle to the Limpiopungo lagoon where we can rest and regain our strength to continue our journey back to the city.
Scheduled Itinerary:
- The meeting point will be confirmed in advance.
- Breakfast.
- Travel to Cotopaxi National Park.
- Trekkingto José Rivas refuge.
- Reach the glaciers (if time is favorable).
- Biking down to Limpiopungo Lagoon.
- Lunch.
- Return to Quito.
