Mindo - One Day
A few hours from the city of Quito is Mindo located in the middle of the cloud forest, an ideal paradise for those who love adrenaline, nature and extreme sports.
In this wonderful place you will find many activities that are safe in a charm such as trafficking, canopy, tubing, rappelling, ideal for all ages. If you are more interested in nature in the middle of the cloud forest you can visit the Mindo waterfalls and enjoy the sighting of hummingbirds. Here we also find the chocolate route that will take you to discover the chocolate-making process or if you prefer you can also visit the butterfly and hummingbird farms.
This place is without a doubt a little piece of heaven on earth.
Scheduled Itinerary:
- The meeting point will be confirmed in advance.
- Tarabita on the canopy of the forest and a walk to the waterfall.
- There are two activities to choose from, Zip Lining crossing part of the forest or tubbing down the river with rapids.
- Visit to a local hacienda to observe hummingbirds, butterflies and orchids inside the property.
- Lunch at a local restaurant in Mindo.
- Visit to the chocolate factory and you can taste the delicious chocolate.
- Return to Quito.
